“Brixton Academy for Oliver Heldens was one of the best nights of the year. The venue has a quality that newer clubs can't manufacture ‚Äî the rake of the floor, the low ceiling, the way the bass sits in the room. The group all ended up on the floor together by the second hour.”

“Totteridge Cricket Club is a genuinely special setting for bonfire night. The fire was proper, the fireworks well-timed, and the mulled wine arrived at exactly the right temperature. A proper communal occasion.”

“Luna Gin Bar took its subject seriously and the crowd matched it. 75 people across a summer Thursday ‚Äî the bar handled the volume without feeling rushed. The botanical gins were genuinely interesting if you leaned into the conversation with the bar staff.”

“LSQ is the kind of venue that makes London feel like the city you moved here for. Drinks were well-made and the crowd had good energy. Slightly pricey but worth it for the setting.”
